I agree with Rick Ridings evaluation that 2022 will be a year of more shakings and deeper up-rootings on the one hand, and greater polarization combined with strong increase in light and redemptive power on the other. On January 20, 2022 we commemorated the 80th anniversary of the Berlin Wannsee conference, where the „Final Solution“ was planned by Hitler’s regime. On January 27, 2022, we commemorated the 77th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp in 1945. Both commemoration events raised some awareness in Germany and in many nations of this world. I am sure a number of you were involved. Bless your hearts and praise the Lord!

As we move into 2022, it is my sense that the Lord wants me to travel more again and involve myself in prayer activities in a number of nations. Let us pray that the Lord will open doors in order to strengthen the „Kings and Priests“ in those countries who are assigned to intercede for Israel as well as to pray for their own countries to become “sheep” nations.

Standing together for Israel and the wellbeing of our nations

We live in fascinating times. Israel is being restored before our very eyes. The Middle East is becoming more and more the central focus of most of the challenges facing the world today. Once again, Israel appears to be at the core of world tensions and questions.

The Bible tells us that since the calling of Abraham and the promise of blessings through his posterity (Gen 12), the nations have been facing a major challenge:

• to accept God’s sovereign choice and be positioned to be a blessing to the Jewish people and Israel, or
• to rebel and deny that Israel has played, is playing and will play a central role for the blessing of God upon the nations until the end of time.

Since the beginning of Christian history, this truth has been denied for the most part, not only by the leaders of the world but also by the Church. As a consequence, most nations have gone astray and are still blinded today in regards to the order set by God for this world.

As the Bible announces, there will be a time when my nation and your nation, will find themselves in the “Valley of decision” (Joel 3). There, the Lord Jesus will separate the sheep-nations from the goat-nations (Matt. 25). On which side will my nation and your nation be?
